My name is Terry Toth. I have been a teacher in the East Stroudsburg Area School District since 1991. I teach computer integration at the John T. Lambert Intermediate School which houses 900 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students at the southern end of our district. I am a certified math teacher but since 1993, I have taught technology through integration for all students at JTL. This teaching has included a large variety of different technologies including movie making. It has been, and still is one of my favorite things to do with technology.
This inservice was specifically designed to show some of the features that come with the new iMovie in the Mavericks/Yosemite operating systems since it greatly differs from the past iMovie programs. I had several staff members ask for assistance in finding options that they were not able to find, so I thought it might be good to do a training where we look at this powerful software package, break it down and discuss movie making from the ground up.
