Preparing to Create iMovies:
  • Creating a Storyboard:
    • Have your students create storyboards. Here is a __template__.
    • If this is a group project, consider assigning roles and ensuring that each student understands the responsibilities of each role.
  • Citing Images:
    • It is very easy to copy images from the Internet, but remind students that all images must be properly cited!
    • Usually we direct students to this __guide__ on how to cite images. You are welcome to borrow any of this information!

Uploading to YouTube:
  • Create a Google account, and sign in to YouTube to create this account. Many teachers simply create a class YouTube account and share this with students. The password can be changed after all of the students have uploaded their videos.
  • Create a "channel" on your YouTube account. You will be unable to upload any videos until you have created the channel! (commonly missed step).
