Hi, and welcome to Constructing a Google Classroom! My name is Jill Greenwood, and I am a 7th grade English teacher at the J. T. Lambert Intermediate School in East Stroudsburg, PA. For the past ten years, I've been privileged to teach this wonderful age group and have witnessed technology impacting both the students' live and our teachers' lives in a variety of good (and not-so-good) ways. Through the use of Google's Classroom, you can create a nearly paperless classroom and do away with the majority of your clutter. Yes, there are some limitations, but we will explore those together.
I love learning about technology and was nominated as a Keystone Technology Integrator in 2014 and selected as a KTI Star. In addition to participating in the Star program through KTI, I was nominated twice as a Technology STAR through the Colonial IU 20, presented at PETE&C in 2015, and presented for the past three years at Spring Into Technology. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy knitting, reading, running, and spoiling my two rescue dogs, Lucy and Sadie.
